Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Engineer (Full Stack) to join our growing technology team. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who is passionate about designing and delivering scalable, high-performing applications while leading the technology practice for the organization. The ideal candidate will be hands-on with full-stack technologies, possess strong problem-solving skills, and demonstrate the ability to guide and mentor developers. Willing to learn and upskill and stay upto date with the latest genAI trends. This position offers the opportunity to influence architectural decisions, establish engineering best practices, and contribute to the organizations technical strategy. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end software design and development using Python (FastAPI), Angular/React, and PostgreSQL. 
• Architect, develop, and deploy scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications. 
• Define and enforce coding standards, design principles, and best practices across projects. 
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical deliverables. 
• Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning. 
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption strategies to enhance the organization’s technology practice. 
• Contribute to building reusable frameworks, accelerators, and tools to drive development efficiency. 
• Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and quality assurance processes. 
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and deployment planning. 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 4–5 years of experience in full-stack software development. 
• Strong proficiency in Python (with hands-on experience in FastAPI, Flask, or Django). 
• Expertise in front-end frameworks – Angular or React (TypeScript/JavaScript). 
• Experience with PostgreSQL and ORM libraries (such as SQLAlchemy). 
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design, authentication, and authorization (OAuth2, JWT). 
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP). 
• Familiarity with GenAI practices, using GenAI tools 
• Proven experience in troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing code for performance. 
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills. 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience leading small technical teams or mentoring developers. 
• Exposure to microservices architecture, GraphQL, or asynchronous programming in Python. 
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, infrastructure-as-code, and monitoring tools. 
• Prior involvement in establishing or contributing to a Technology Center of Excellence (CoE) or engineering practice.
