You will be responsible for architecting and delivering security products that safeguard 60,000+ organizations worldwide while overseeing a team of talented engineers at our expanding Kochi office. This role is ideal for you if you are an experienced engineering manager with a strong command over Python, AWS, and REST APIs. You excel in dynamic and high-impact environments, and you are currently based in Kochi or are enthusiastic about relocating to this thriving tech hub. As a software team leader, you will guide the development of software using the Software Development Lifecycle and Agile Methodologies. You will offer engineering problem-solving recommendations and foster coordination across team boundaries. Key Role Details: - Experience level: 11-16 years - Hybrid work model (Tuesday to Thursday in office) - Office Location: Kochi - Candidates must be willing to relocate to or already be based in Kochi/Kerala Requirements: - BE or equivalent plus 11+ years technical experience - 2 years of experience managing software development teams - Building, managing, and delivering high-quality software products and features - Ability to lead a team of highly skilled software engineers - Extensive experience in building and integrating REST-based APIs with a focus on authentication & authorization in enterprise-grade production environments - Developing apps and microservices on the AWS platform using Python - Proficiency in at least one web framework technology like Python Django/Flask/Rails - Understanding and experience in constructing software systems following software design principles - Demonstrable knowledge of cloud concepts related to multi-tenancy, scaling out, and serverless architectures - Writing clean, unit-tested, and secure code - Proficiency in relational databases such as MySQL/PostgreSQL and expertise in SQL - Knowledge of no-SQL databases like MongoDB and Elasticsearch is advantageous - Experience with continuous delivery and integration pipelines including Docker, GitLab, Terraform, and other automated deployment and testing tools - Willingness to learn new technologies and programming languages as required - Experience working with APIs in the cybersecurity sector and familiarity with the current security landscape (attack frameworks, security log processing, basic knowledge of AV/EDR/DLP/CASB, etc.) is a significant advantage Experience in constructing scalable data processing pipelines will be considered a bonus for this role.,
