Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Python Lead Developer with strong expertise in Python, SQL, AWS, and Apache Airflow. The ideal candidate will lead a team of developers to build scalable data pipelines, backend systems, and cloud-based solutions, ensuring high performance, maintainability, and adherence to best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Python developers, ensuring delivery of high-quality software solutions
• Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines and backend systems using Python and Airflow
• Work with AWS services (S3, Lambda, EC2, Glue, Redshift, RDS, etc
• ) for deployment, data storage, and automation
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries for performance and scalability
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and DevOps teams for efficient, scalable workflows
• Implement and enforce best practices in coding, CI/CD, and source control
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks and production issues
• Participate in architectural design and technical strategy discussions

Required Skills & Experience

• 6+ years of hands-on software development experience, including 2+ years in a lead/senior role
• Strong expertise in Python (OOP, API development, data processing)
• Experience with frameworks like Flask or FastAPI preferred
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc)
• Solid experience with AWS cloud services S3, Lambda, EC2, Glue, Redshift, RDS
• Strong understanding of Apache Airflow for orchestration and automation
• Knowledge of ETL development, data modeling, and data integration
• Experience with Git, CI/CD tools, and version control workflows
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
