Python Developer with Advanced SQL

We are looking for an experienced Python Developer with advanced SQL skills and expertise in data modeling and regression analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in software development, with additional knowledge of machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) being highly desirable. This role involves designing and implementing data-driven solutions and leveraging advanced analytics to drive business insights and innovation.

Job Responsibilities:

- Software Development:

- Design, develop, and maintain Python-based applications, tools, and data pipelines.

- Write efficient, reusable, and reliable code in Python, adhering to best practices.

- Advanced SQL Querying:

- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries to manage and analyze large datasets.

- Create and maintain stored procedures, triggers, and views to support data operations.

- Data Modeling:

- Design and implement data models to structure and organize data effectively for various applications.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data models meet business requirements and objectives.

- Regression Analysis:

- Perform regression analysis to interpret data trends and provide actionable insights.

- Develop predictive models to enhance decision-making and business strategies.

- Machine Learning and AI (Preferred):

- Apply machine learning algorithms and techniques to solve complex problems and improve data-driven solutions.

- Explore and implement AI technologies to enhance data analysis and automate processes.

- Performance Tuning and Optimization:

- Monitor and optimize the performance of SQL queries and Python scripts.

- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and issues.

- Collaboration and Documentation:

- Work with cross-functional teams including data analysts, business analysts, and product managers to deliver high-quality solutions.

- Document code, processes, and data models comprehensively to ensure clarity and knowledge sharing.

Needs to Have:

- Education and Experience:

- Bachelors degree in computer science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- 2+ years of experience in Python development and advanced SQL querying.

- Technical Skills:

- Proficiency in Python, including experience with libraries and frameworks such as Pandas, NumPy, and SQL Alchemy.

- Advanced SQL skills with expertise in database design, querying, and optimization.

- Strong experience with data modeling and regression analysis techniques.

- Analytical Skills:

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a strong understanding of data trends and insights.

- Soft Skills:

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Knowledge of machine learning (ML) algorithms and artificial intelligence (AI) techniques.

- Experience with ML/AI libraries and frameworks (e.g., Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, Azure)

- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) would be good to have.
