As a Python Developer at Taxmann, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable applications and APIs that power our next-generation legal-tech and AI-driven products. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain scalable RESTful APIs using frameworks like Flask or FastAPI. - Design, implement, and manage backend services for web and AI applications. - Integrate machine learning and GenAI models into backend workflows and APIs. - Work with libraries such as pandas, BeautifulSoup, and NumPy for data processing and manipulation. - Collaborate with front-end developers, data scientists, and product managers to deliver end-to-end solutions. - Optimize existing Python codebases for performance, readability, and maintainability. - Write and maintain SQL queries and work with relational databases for data extraction and storage. - Create and maintain automated scripts for data ingestion, transformation, and reporting. - Implement best practices for version control, CI/CD, testing, and deployment. - Ensure the security, integrity, and scalability of developed applications. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. - Minimum 2 years of experience in backend or full-stack Python development. - Strong proficiency in Python and backend frameworks (Flask, FastAPI, Django). - Experience working with APIs, databases (SQL), and data handling libraries. - Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript is a plus (for API integration and testing). - Knowledge of Git and collaborative development workflows. - Ability to write clean, modular, and well-documented code. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
