Python Developer - Django Framework

We are looking for a highly skilled Python/Django Developer to be a part of our expanding team. As the ideal candidate, you should possess extensive experience in developing web applications utilizing the Django framework. Your primary responsibility will involve constructing scalable, robust, and high-performance applications while collaborating with various teams to ensure successful project delivery. Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining web applications using Python and Django, designing and implementing back-end services that are scalable, secure, and maintainable. You will work closely with front-end developers and UI/UX designers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. Moreover, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining both RESTful and GraphQL APIs, ensuring the security, performance, and responsiveness of web applications, and contributing to the entire application lifecycle, with a focus on coding and debugging. Additionally, you will write reusable, testable, and efficient code, troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems and applications, work with databases to design schema and write queries, conduct code reviews to maintain code quality, and stay abreast of the latest trends in web development and frameworks. The required skills and qualifications for this role include a strong proficiency in Python and the Django framework, experience in building and maintaining web applications using Django ORM, familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery, proficiency with relational databases like PostgreSQL and MySQL, as well as NoSQL databases like MongoDB. You should have experience in designing and consuming RESTful APIs, an understanding of authentication methods like OAuth2 and JWT, proficiency with version control systems like Git, knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure (preferred), a strong grasp of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and MVC architecture, familiarity with Docker and containerization (preferred), and experience with unit testing and writing tests in Django.
