Python Bigdata Developer

As an Applications Development Intermediate Programmer Analyst at this company, you will play a key role in establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. Your primary objective will be to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities. - Utilize your knowledge of applications development procedures and concepts - Apply basic knowledge of other technical areas to identify and define necessary system enhancements - Consult with users, clients, and other technology groups on issues - Recommend programming solutions and install and support customer exposure systems - Apply fundamental knowledge of programming languages for design specifications - Analyze applications to identify vulnerabilities and security issues - Conduct testing and debugging - Serve as an advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts - Identify problems, analyze information, and make evaluative judgments to recommend and implement solutions - Exercise independence of judgment and autonomy with a limited level of direct supervision - Act as a Subject Matter Expert to senior stakeholders and/or other team members - Assess risk appropriately when making business decisions Qualifications: - 2-5 years of relevant experience in the Financial Service industry - Intermediate level experience in an Applications Development role - Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills - Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities - Capability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements - Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience The ideal candidate for this position should also have: - Good hands-on experience with Python / Pyspark programming - Experience working on Agile teams - Experience with Oracle and Big Data - Hive SQL's Please note that this job description provides a high-level overview of the types of work performed, and other job-related duties may be assigned as required.,
