We are looking for a talented Senior Python Developer / Technical Team Lead with expertise in Python, data engineering, and AI to lead and mentor our development team. The ideal candidate has experience with Anaconda, data engineering, and machine learning/AI applications, along with a strong understanding of API development using Azure Functions and deployment management with Azure DevOps. As the Technical Team Lead, you will oversee project development, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and guide junior developers, ensuring high-quality code and efficient workflows. Key Responsibilities: Lead and mentor a team of Python developers, ensuring best practices and code standards. Architect, design, and develop advanced Python applications with a focus on data engineering and AI. Develop and maintain APIs using Python on Azure Functions for scalable microservices and integrations. Utilise Azure DevOps for CI/CD, project tracking, and automated deployment. Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to build scalable data pipelines and machine learning solutions. Utilise Anaconda for package management, environment setup, and efficient code execution. Conduct code reviews and oversee project lifecycles, from design to deployment. Troubleshoot and optimize applications for performance, reliability, and scalability. Stay updated with industry trends, especially in Python, data engineering, and AI, and incorporate them into team practices. Qualifications: Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of professional Python development experience, including data engineering and AI applications. Strong experience in developing APIs using Azure Functions/Others. Proficiency in Azure DevOps/Other DevOps tools for CI/CD and project management. Experience with Anaconda and associated tools for environment and package management. Strong experience with cloud platforms, especially Azure Proficiency in databases (SQL and NoSQL) and data transformation tools. Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills. Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet project deadlines
