Python AWS Developer

Role Overview: As a Senior Python AWS Developer at MyRemoteTeam, Inc, your role will involve participating in solution investigation, estimations, planning, and alignment with other teams. You will design, implement, and deliver new features for the Personalization Engine. Partnering with the product and design teams to understand user needs and translate them into high-quality content solutions and features will be a key responsibility. Additionally, you will promote and implement test automation, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, and deploy applications on the cloud using technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and Terraform. Working closely with the team in an agile and collaborative environment, including code reviews, pair programming, knowledge sharing, and incident coordination, will also be part of your role. Maintaining existing applications and reducing technical debt will be essential to ensure the success of the team and projects. Key Responsibilities: - Participate in solution investigation, estimations, planning, and alignment with other teams - Design, implement, and deliver new features for the Personalization Engine - Partner with the product and design teams to understand user needs and translate them into high-quality content solutions and features - Promote and implement test automation (e.g., unit tests, integration tests) - Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration, development, testing, and deployment - Deploy applications on the cloud using technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and Terraform - Work closely with the team in an agile and collaborative environment, including code reviews, pair programming, knowledge sharing, and incident coordination - Maintain existing applications and reduce technical debt Qualifications Must have: - 6+ years of experience in software development is preferred - Experience with Python - Experience with PostgreSQL - Good understanding of data structures and clean code - Able to understand and apply design patterns - Interest in DevOps philosophy - Experience with FastAPI - Willingness to learn on the job - Experience with relational and non-relational databases - Empathetic and able to easily build relationships - Good verbal and written communication skills,
