Python and SQL Developers

You are a skilled Python and SQL Developer who will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data-driven applications and automated solutions. Your expertise in Python programming and SQL querying will be essential as you work on backend systems, APIs, and data pipelines. Your key responsibilities will include developing, testing, and maintaining backend components using Python, writing optimized SQL queries to interact with relational databases, and building data processing pipelines or APIs that interface with internal and external systems. You will also need to optimize database performance, ensure data integrity and security, collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and other developers, and write clean, scalable, and well-documented code. To excel in this role, you must have at least 6 years of experience in Python development, strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases, and an understanding of database design, indexing, and query optimization. Familiarity with ORM tools like SQLAlchemy or Django ORM, experience with version control systems such as Git, and an understanding of RESTful APIs and web frameworks like Flask and Django are advantageous. You should be able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and contribute to code reviews and continuous improvement processes. Preferred qualifications for this position include experience with data engineering tools, familiarity with cloud platforms, exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines, knowledge of NoSQL databases, experience with unit testing and test-driven development. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience) is required for this role.,
