Python AI Prompt Engineer

As a Python AI Prompt Engineer at our company, your primary responsibilities will include: - Designing, developing, and maintaining backend services and APIs using Python, specifically with Django REST Framework or FastAPI. - Architecting and optimizing SQL database schemas and queries to ensure performance and scalability. - Building and managing microservices to support modular, high-performing applications. - Applying your expertise in Generative AI (LLMs) to integrate and optimize LLM-based solutions, including prompt design, fine-tuning, and API-driven workflows. - Ensuring code quality, security, and compliance with best practices and industry standards. - Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams (Frontend, QA, Product, DevOps) for end-to-end solution delivery. - Conducting code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning of backend services. In order to excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications: - 5+ years of overall software development experience. - Minimum 2 years of hands-on Python backend development experience. - Strong expertise in Django REST Framework or FastAPI. - Proficiency with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar. - Proven experience in Generative AI (LLMs) including prompt engineering and fine-tuning models. - Solid understanding of microservices architecture and API-first design. - Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and agile delivery.
