Role & responsibilities Primary Responsibilities: Test, Qualify, and validate the firmware releases on the actual hardware solutions owned by the Embedded Systems group Be able to assess the nature of the test failures FW, SW or HW. Provide feedback to the team on test results Help define the hardware platform for testing Conduct thorough testing and validation of hardware products to ensure compliance with specifications, requirements and quality standards. Perform root cause analysis and troubleshooting of hardware defects and implement preventive measures for malfunctions to minimize future occurrences. Maintain and improve existing regression test suites Validate features using different test methodologies – white and black box testing The position requires excellent soft skills to be part of a cross functional team, excellent written & oral communication and presentation skills. Mandatory Skills: Minimum of 3 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 1 years and a Master’s degree. Good knowledge of integration testing of hardware and firmware for Embedded Systems.
