Job Description

Data Engineering & Development

Design, develop, and maintain
ETL/ELT pipelines
using PySpark and Spark SQL.
Implement data transformations, aggregations, cleansing, and validation processes.
Build scalable workflows for batch and/or real-time streaming data.

Performance Optimization

Optimize PySpark jobs for performance, cost, and scalability.
Implement partitioning, bucketing, caching, and resource tuning.
Diagnose and resolve issues using Spark UI, logs, and monitoring tools.

Data Integration & Architecture

Work with structured and unstructured data from multiple data sources (RDBMS, APIs, logs, files, cloud storage).
Develop and manage data lake/lakehouse architectures (Bronze/Silver/Gold layers).
Implement schema evolution, data quality checks, and metadata management.
