As a Full Stack Software Developer Intern at Volcan Vision and Automation Pvt Ltd, you will have the exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of robust, high-performance desktop applications for cutting-edge machine vision systems. Your role will involve working with real-world hardware, deep learning models, and advanced networking protocols in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Your responsibilities will include developing high-performance desktop applications that interface with machine vision cameras and PLCs. You will design and implement GUI interfaces using PyQt or similar frameworks, integrate image acquisition and processing modules using OpenCV, establish Ethernet-based communication with PLCs for real-time control and feedback, implement multithreading using QThreads for responsive user interfaces, and optimize and debug applications for industrial deployment. To excel in this role, you should possess a strong proficiency in Python, experience with PyQt/PySide and Qt Designer, knowledge of multithreading using QThreads, hands-on experience with OpenCV and computer vision concepts, understanding of Ethernet communication protocols, and familiarity with version control systems such as Git. The ideal candidate for this position is a 3rd or Final Year Student from B.Tech/B.E./MCA or equivalent programs with a strong interest in software development and computer vision.
