This is an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects, including greenfield setups and multi-surface coating applications. Key Responsibilities Lead greenfield projects focused on PVD coating applications. Finalize equipment specifications and lead DFM (Design for Manufacturability) initiatives. Conduct vendor evaluations and manage vendor finalization processes. Oversee PVD coating on surfaces such as plastics, metals, and glass . Drive equipment qualification and process establishment for PVD coating lines. Apply chemical knowledge to monitor coating quality and testing methods. Provide technical support for equipment troubleshooting and quality issues related to coatings. Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering , Materials Science , Manufacturing Engineering , or related field. 8–10 years of hands-on experience in PVD Coating processes and technology. Skills & Expertise Strong understanding of coating chemistry and quality testing . Experience leading PVD equipment procurement and installation . Exposure to surface coatings on plastic, metal, and glass substrates. Ability to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and coating defects . Excellent communication and project coordination skills.
