Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Operate and monitor
PVC sheet line / moulding line machines
as per production plan.
Set machine parameters (temperature, pressure, speed, thickness etc.) according to product specifications.
Handle
extrusion line operations
, die settings, and material feeding.
Ensure proper mixing of raw materials, additives, and compounds as per required formulation.
Conduct regular checks on
product quality
thickness, width, surface finish, and strength.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve machine-related issues during production.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene around the machine area.
Minimize wastage by optimizing machine operations.
Ensure correct mould change-over and line start-up/shut-down procedures.
Coordinate with maintenance for preventive and breakdown maintenance.
Maintain daily production reports, machine logs, and quality check records.
Follow safety protocols and ensure safe machine handling at all times.

Preferred candidate profile

Knowledge of
PVC sheet extrusion
, WPC sheet line, or moulding line operations.
Understanding of
machine parameters
, heating zones, calibration, and cooling systems.
Basic understanding of
quality standards
in PVC/WPC products.
Ability to identify defects like rough surface, uneven thickness, color issues, warpage, etc.
Ability to read and understand work instructions and production SOPs.
Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills.
