Job Title: Pharmacy Manager Department: Pharmacy Location: Pushpalata D.Y. Patil Hospital, Ambi, Talegaon Reporting to: Deputy Medical Superintendent / Director of Hospital Services Job Summary: The Pharmacy Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hospital pharmacy. This includes ensuring regulatory compliance, budget, managing pharmacy staff, maintaining stock and inventory, implementing policies for medication safety, and working collaboratively with clinical departments to ensure optimal patient care. Key Responsibilities: Oversee all aspects of the hospital pharmacy's operations, including procurement, storage, distribution, and dispensing of medicines. Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including FDA norms, Pharmacy Act, and hospital policies. Supervise and guide pharmacy staff including pharmacists, pharmacy assistants. Monitor and manage drug inventory, expiry, and ensure availability of essential medicines at all times. Establish and maintain relationships with pharmaceutical vendors and suppliers. Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for pharmacy operations. Conduct audits to ensure medication safety, quality control, and stock accuracy. Review prescriptions for accuracy, proper dosage, drug interactions, and patient safety. Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other departments to support clinical needs. Ensure appropriate storage and handling of medications, including cold chain items. Keep records of controlled substances as per regulatory requirements. Conduct training and capacity building programs for pharmacy staff. Provide reports to hospital administration regarding stock usage, procurement, and budgeting. Contribute to NABH other accreditation processes related to pharmacy services. Qualifications and Experience: M.Pharmacy & MBA from a recognized university; registration with State Pharmacy Council is mandatory. Minimum 5 - 8 years of experience in a hospital pharmacy, with at least 3 - 5 years in a supervisory/managerial role. Prior experience in a NABH-accredited hospital will be an added advantage. Skills Required: In-depth knowledge of hospital pharmacy operations and drug management systems. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Familiarity with hospital information systems (HIS) and pharmacy management software. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Good communication skills and attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Job Title: Executive Assistant Department: Administration / Medical Services Location: Pushpalata D Y Patil Hospital, Ambi, Talegaon Reporting To: Deputy Medical Superintendent Experience Required: 2 to 5 Years Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary: The Executive Assistant will provide high-level administrative and operational support to the Deputy Medical Superintendent (DMS). The role involves managing schedules, communications, coordination with clinical and administrative departments, and assisting in hospital operations, quality assurance, and documentation. Key Responsibilities: Manage the DMSs daily calendar, appointments, meetings, and travel plans. Coordinate with various departments (clinical, nursing, diagnostics, etc.) Draft letters, emails, reports, presentations, and official communication. Maintain confidential records, documents, and correspondence. Follow up on tasks, circulars, policies, and projects initiated. Assist in preparing data for audits, inspections. Take minutes of meetings, maintain action plans, and ensure timely follow-ups. Track and compile department-wise performance indicators and reports. Support grievance redressal, patient feedback systems, and administrative queries.
