Job Summary: We are looking for a dynamic and technically sound Area Sales Manager (Project Sales) to drive business growth in the Guwahati region. The candidate will be responsible for handling project-based B2B sales , establishing strong relationships with contractors, project dealers, builders, consultants, and construction houses , and achieving assigned sales targets through proactive business development and market expansion. Responsibilities: Develop and execute the sales strategy for project sales in the assigned region. Identify, approach, and establish relationships with project dealers, contractors, builders, architects, and consultants . Promote and sell a range of electrical products including wires, cables, conduits, switches, switchboards, lighting, and fans . Generate project leads and ensure product specification and approval in upcoming projects. Monitor competitor activities and market trends to identify new opportunities. Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals for projects. Ensure timely follow-up on quotations and close sales with key accounts. Coordinate with internal teams (logistics, accounts, and technical support) to ensure seamless order fulfillment and client satisfaction. Maintain and expand the database of key customers and track project pipelines. Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets as per company goals. Provide regular sales forecasts, MIS reports, and market intelligence to management. Preferred candidate profile B.E.
