Job Purpose: The Area Manager Franchise Operations is responsible for managing and expanding franchise partners in the assigned territory to ensure seamless last-mile delivery operations. This role ensures New franchise on boarding , operational excellence, and customer satisfaction through effective coordination, performance tracking, and business development. Should have prior experience network expansion and last mile franchise on-boarding Key Responsibilities: 1. Franchise Management Oversee daily operations of franchise delivery partners in the assigned area. Ensure adherence to company operational standards, compliance, and SLAs. Conduct regular reviews with franchise owners to track performance, challenges, and KPIs. Facilitate smooth on-boarding and training of new franchise partners. 2. Operational Performance Monitor delivery success rates, turnaround time, and service quality. Ensure optimal utilisation of delivery personnel and resources. Coordinate with central operations, logistics, and technology teams to resolve issues. Implement performance improvement plans for under performing franchises. 3. Business Expansion Identify and onboard new franchise partners in potential markets. Evaluate the capacity and capability of existing partners for business growth. Support in territory mapping, allocation, and load balancing. 4. People & Process Management Supervise field executives, bikers, and ground staff through franchise partners. Ensure periodic audits for rider behaviour, safety, and compliance. Drive continuous improvement initiatives for cost optimisation and efficiency. 5. Reporting & Analysis Prepare and maintain reports on operational metrics, partner performance, and service quality. Analyse trends to identify risks and opportunities in delivery operations. Report to regional management with actionable insights and recommendations. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): On-time delivery performance Delivery success rate (%) Franchise partner retention and satisfaction Cost per delivery / productivity metrics Compliance and audit score Qualifications & Experience: Graduate / Postgraduate in Logistics, Business Administration, or related field. 47 years of experience in last-mile delivery, logistics, or franchise management. Experience managing multiple locations or partners is preferred. Strong understanding of delivery operations, manpower planning, and performance monitoring.
