Purchase Manager - Cable Industry

You have the opportunity to join Zenium Cables Limited as a Purchase Executive at their Plant Location in Valsad, Gujarat. As a Purchase Executive, your role will involve identifying potential suppliers, evaluating their capabilities, and negotiating contracts. You will be responsible for negotiating prices and contracts with suppliers, as well as building and maintaining strong relationships with vendors. Evaluating vendors based on quality, timeliness, and price will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. Furthermore, you will manage supplier relationships, schedule deliveries to ensure timely fulfillment of orders, and analyze inventory levels, demand, and consumption patterns. Collaboration with other departments to determine supply needs and preparation of reports on procurement activities, performance metrics, and cost savings will also be part of your duties. Staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices is essential, and there may be opportunities to lead a team of buyers or purchasing agents. To excel in this role, experience in the Cable Manufacturing Industry is preferred. Good communication and negotiation skills are essential, along with a willingness to travel in the field when required. Local candidates from Gujarat will be given preference. This is a Full-time, Permanent position with a work schedule of 10-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Sunday. The salary ranges from Rs. 35,000 to Rs. 60,000 per month, based on experience and knowledge.
