Job Description

Purchase Cum Store Executive

Role & responsibilities

Source and procure raw materials, pump components, castings, fabrication parts, seals, bearings, motors, fasteners, etc.
Evaluate suppliers, collect quotations, and negotiate pricing & delivery terms.
Prepare purchase orders and follow up for timely deliveries.
Maintain vendor database and build strong supplier relationships.
Coordinate with production, quality, and design teams for material requirements.

Manage day-to-day store activities including receipt, storage, and issuance of materials.
Inspect incoming materials for
dimension, quantity, and quality
, especially pump-related components.
Maintain accurate stock records and update ERP/MIS systems.
Ensure proper inventory control: minimum stock levels, reorder levels, and stock audits.
Handle GRN preparation, gate entries, and documentation.

Preferred candidate profile

Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum
1 year experience
in purchase/storepreferably in pumps or mechanical components.
Knowledge of pump parts like impellers, shafts, casings, couplings, bearings, seals, etc.
Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel, inventory software, or ERP systems.
