Job content: You will join the punch powertrain engineering team for EV, DCT, Hybrid powertrain in India. Support the development and refinement of control system calibrations for hybrid, or electric powertrains. Work with software development, validation, diagnostics, and system integration teams to ensure smooth functionality of calibration features. Support testing activities on dynamometers, test benches, and in-vehicle environments. Work with calibration engineers to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the calibration and testing framework. Analyze large datasets from testing using MATLAB, Excel, or Python to extract insights and recommend calibration changes. Support senior engineers in troubleshooting, analysis, and problem resolution across various engineering tasks. Document test results, calibration changes, and analysis in engineering reports. Actively participate in training and development programs to enhance your technical skills. Your profile: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Automotive Engineering, Electrical/Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field. Understanding of engines, hybrid/electric powertrains, Inverters or vehicle dynamics. 0-2 years of professional project experience or Internship in powertrains testing, vehicle calibration, or control systems is a plus. Familiarity with automotive calibration tools such as ETAS INCA, CANape, CANalyzer, or similar is a plus. Knowledge of automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN), control systems using matlab simulink, sensors, and actuators used in automotive applications is an advantage. Experience with programming/scripting languages such as Python, Bash, PERL, Java, CAPL is plus. Ability to troubleshoot, analyze, and debug software and hardware issues. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a passion for learning. You are an excellent team player and desire to grow yourself, your team and the company.
