Job Title: Electrical Engineer – Pipeline Projects (Commissioning & Design) Department: Engineering / Projects Job Purpose: To lead the electrical engineering aspects of cross-country pipeline projects, including design validation, procurement support, installation supervision, commissioning, and integration of electrical systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of pipeline infrastructure. Protection Systems: Design and implement effective grounding systems and lightning protection for pumping stations, CP stations, and associated infrastructure. Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution: Identify, diagnose, and resolve electrical issues that arise during installation, testing, and commissioning phases. Safety & Compliance: Ensure all electrical installations meet safety regulations, operational requirements, and quality standards. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. Certification in PLC programming, SCADA systems, or industrial automation (preferred). Experience:5 to 10 years of experience in electrical engineering roles related to pipeline projects, oil & gas, or heavy industrial infrastructure. Hands-on experience with pump stations, electrical equipment commissioning, and industrial automation. Skills & Competencies: Technical Skills: Strong understanding of electrical systems in pipeline infrastructure including transformers, MCCs, VFDs, and CP systems.
