Key Responsibilities: Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods. Develop new recipes and seasonal offerings in line with customer preferences and trends. Ensure all baked items are prepared according to recipes and presentation standards. Manage inventory of baking ingredients and supplies; order stock as needed. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the baking area and equipment. Maintain food safety and hygiene standards according to local health regulations. Monitor baking times and temperatures to ensure consistency and quality. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation and timely service. Train and supervise junior bakers or kitchen assistants if required. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Baker, Pastry Chef, or similar role. Formal culinary or baking/pastry education is a plus. Knowledge of baking techniques and trends. Familiarity with kitchen equipment and baking tools. Ability to follow recipes and innovate when needed. Excellent time-management and organizational skills. Strong attention to detail and artistic ability (especially for cakes and pastries). Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
