Job Overview – Public Relations Officer (PRO) – School Admissions.

Nova Institute of Medical Sciences and Medical Research Centre is looking for a dedicated Public Relations Officer (PRO) is responsible for managing the school’s public image, handling admission enquiries, building strong relationships with parents, and supporting all communication and outreach activities. The PRO plays a key role in increasing admissions through effective communication, marketing, and parent engagement.

Key Responsibilities

1. Admissions Management

Handle walk-in, telephonic, and online admission enquiries.

Explain school programs, curriculum, facilities, and fee structure clearly to parents.

Maintain enquiry registers, follow-up records, and admission data.

Assist parents throughout the admission process and documentation.

2. Parent Communication & Relationship Building

Greet and guide parents visiting the campus for admissions.

Address parent queries politely and professionally.

Build positive rapport and ensure high levels of parent satisfaction.

Conduct admission counselling sessions when required.

3. Public Relations & Outreach

Represent the school professionally in external meetings and community interactions.

Coordinate with local communities, societies, and organizations to promote the school.

Maintain positive relationships with existing parents for referral admissions.

4. Marketing & Promotion

Support school branding activities such as brochures, banners, and promotional materials.

Assist in social media updates, online promotions, and event publicity.

Coordinate with the marketing team to plan admission campaigns and school events.

5. Record Keeping & Reporting

Maintain proper database of enquiries, walk-ins, conversions, and admissions.

Prepare weekly and monthly admission feedback reports.

Track follow-ups and update management regularly.

6. Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree (any field; MBA/PR preferred).

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Confident, presentable, and parent-friendly personality.

Knowledge of admissions process and school functioning (preferred).
