Chief Manager Financial Reporting- Life Insurance- 8+ Years - Gurgaon We are hiring a seasoned Chartered Accountant with 810 years of post-qualification experience in the life insurance industry, specializing in financial and regulatory reporting, group consolidation, statutory audits, SEBI/IRDAI compliances, Indian GAAP, accounting standards, and internal controls. Responsibilities Driving group reporting and preparing consolidation-ready financials (IND AS compliant), while coordinating with the Holding Company for queries and data needs. Managing regulatory reporting (I-GAAP & IND AS) to IRDAI, including BAP submissions, public disclosures, Life Council reporting, new business certificates, BAP operational tasks, and adhoc requirements. Leading quarterly statutory audits with joint statutory auditors (including a Big 4 firm) and ensuring timely closures. Maintaining and updating the Internal Control Framework (ICF) in line with evolving processes and system changes. Ensuring timely SEBI compliances for listed debentures and maintaining impeccable documentation. Planning and overseeing finance projects, tracking milestones, budgets, and risks to ontime delivery. Liaising with IT and business for system enhancements, testing requirements, evaluating new changes, providing CRs, and driving defect resolution. Requirements Chartered Accountant (CA) with 810 years of relevant post-qualification experience. Proven life insurance experience in financials and regulatory reporting. Strong knowledge of IND AS, accounting standards, SEBI and IRDAI regulations. Demonstrated experience in group reporting, statutory audit management, internal controls, and compliance. Returns/ Reports on quarterly basis for Promoters (like Risk Questionnaire, BG, Fincon, DSB etc) Related Party transaction data for Promoters and Quarterly PD. Submission for data to management, other department and Promoters as and when required. Peer Comparison of Public Disclosure, Financials, Notes to Account & Accounting Policy. Accounting and control Assist in developing and implement of Accounting Policies and MIS Reports etc. Stakeholder Management Interaction with various departments/ team for data collection, reporting and clarifications. Co-ordinate with promoters and provide the requisite details as and when required. Audit Coordinating with Statutory/ Internal/ CAG Auditors for the audit. Internal Financial Control Review and ensuring the effectiveness of Internal Financial Controls. Discussing for improvements and updating of the same. Fixed Assets Fixed Assets Capitalization. Review and reconciliation of Fixed Assets register. Coordination and assisting in physical verification audit. System Enhancements Testing of system requirements and evaluating new requirements. Providing CRs to IT. Liaising with IT for resolution of defects and delivery.
