Role & responsibilities Operational Management Oversee and manage all hub operations during shifts, including inbound and outbound processes. Ensure timely sorting, loading, and dispatch of consignments to meet delivery deadlines. Monitor real-time operational metrics and implement corrective actions as necessary. Team Leadership Supervise and guide the night shift team, including loaders, sorters, and drivers. Conduct regular briefings to align the team with operational objectives and safety protocols. Foster a productive work environment and address performance-related issues promptly. Compliance and Safety Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards. Conduct routine inspections to identify and mitigate potential risks. Manage and report incidents or discrepancies to higher management. Process Improvement Identify bottlenecks in night operations and recommend process enhancements. Collaborate with other departments to implement automation and technology-driven solutions. Maintain accurate records of consignments and prepare shift reports for management review. Stakeholder Coordination Coordinate with transport partners, vendors, and internal departments for seamless operations. Address and resolve customer escalations related to night operations. Ensure efficient handover between night and day shifts.
