JOB PURPOSE The Secondary Transportation Specialist will play crucial role in looking after secondary transportation, with key focus on the Customer Deliveries for both Consumer Products and Lighting business at national level & branch level. This role is also responsible for ensuring optimized secondary movement through Full Truck Load, Milk Run and Courier Movement through National Partners. The role requires close collaboration with customers, sales, warehouses, operations, and IT functions KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 1.Own Secondary Logistics cost without compromising on Customer Service Levels. 2. Drive Secondary Leg of Transportation through 19 WHs all India with mix of Local and National Transporters. 3. Drive Key initiatives to bring down logistics cost with key initiatives and strategic collaboration with key transporters and national partners. 4. Circulating daily, weekly and fortnightly MIS to internal stakeholders to improve visibility to sales team and customers. 5. Coordinate with local WH team to ensure optimum serviceability with >97% on time deliveries 6. Work on creating & maintaining Dashboards to improve visibility to Warehouses and help them to take proactive action in maintaining service levels 7. Highlight customer complaints and get them resolved through active co-ordination with the Sales and Customer Operations team. 8. Develop new vendors and help in collaborating with strategic partners to bring down logistics costs and simultaneously improve the service levels. 9. Assist in the preparation of Yearly Budgets and Monthly Provisions for secondary logistics cost and ensuring adherence to the budget and provision in terms of freight booking. 10.
