Key Skills and Qualifications: - Education: Bachelor's degree in Law, Commerce, or any related field. Additional certifications in Compliance or Labour Laws would be an advantage. - Experience: 2-4 years of experience in statutory compliance, HR, or legal compliance, preferably in the nonprofit or social sector. Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of labor laws, including PF, ESIC, PT, Contract Labour regulations, and POSH. Strong understanding of statutory return filing processes (monthly, quarterly, and annually). Familiarity with government portals for filing returns (e.g., EPFO, ESIC, GST). Roles and Responsibilities Manage payroll processing, including PF, ESIC, LWF, Gratuity, Bonus, Challan submission to ensure timely compliance with labour laws. Ensure accurate calculation of salaries and statutory deductions according to company policies and procedures. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of labour laws and regulations related to payroll processing in India (PF, ESIC). Coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to employee data or payroll calculations. Perform regular audits of payroll records and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Statutory Compliances Ensure timely compliance with all statutory requirements including GST, TDS, PF, PT, ESIC, etc. Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, Annual Returns, Reconciliation). Accounts & Reconciliation Perform ledger scrutiny and reconciliation of vendor accounts, customer ledgers, and inter-company balances. Monitor and reconcile bank statements, advances, and prepaid expenses. Review and update books of accounts periodically as per IND AS or applicable accounting standards. Ensure accurate journal postings, adjustments, and provisions. Finalization of Books & Audit Support Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of books. Prepare financial reports, schedules, and data for internal/external audits. Co-ordinate with auditors for audit queries, documentation, and supporting reconciliations. Ensure compliance with audit requirements and help in timely audit closure. Other Responsibilities Support in the implementation of internal controls and SOP adherence. Coordinate with project and procurement teams for invoice validations and documentation. Support budgeting and variance analysis as needed. Ensure timely MIS reporting to management.
