The Principal - Special Education position is available at SRISAISEVASADAN's Child Therapy Center & Special School for I.D./M.R. located in Motinagar, Hyderabad. As the academic head of the institution, you will lead a multidisciplinary team of educators, therapists, and support staff to provide holistic care and education to children with developmental, behavioral, emotional, and physical challenges. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing a strategic vision aligned with the institution's mission, leading curriculum design tailored to students with special needs, and supervising special educators and therapy teams. You will also oversee the development and execution of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), monitor student progress, recruit and train staff, and build strong relationships with parents and the community. To qualify for this role, you must have a Master's degree in Special Education, Psychology, or a related field, along with at least 7-10 years of experience in special education or therapy settings. A minimum of 3 years in a leadership role is required, as well as a strong understanding of neurodevelopmental disorders, inclusive education, and therapy models. The ideal candidate will possess empathetic and visionary leadership skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, strong operational and strategic planning capabilities, and problem-solving and emotional intelligence.
