Job Summary: The I&C Lead Engineer - Instrumentation is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of instrument selection, specifications, procurement, and compliance for oil and gas projects. Key Responsibilities: Develop control system & instrumentation specifications, material requisitions, and technical bid evaluations. Select appropriate field instrumentation and ensure compliance with industry standards (ISA, IEC, API, NEC, ATEX etc.), client requirements, and regulatory guidelines. Participation in 3D model reviews, P&ID mark-up, HAZOP and SIL/LOPA reviews. Interfaced with procurement teams to provide technical support for material purchasing and vendor qualification. Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and manufacturers to ensure compliance with project requirements and specifications. Ensure compliance with safety standards, hazardous area classifications, and functional safety standards. Implement safety instrumented systems (SIS) and emergency shutdown systems. Review and approve Bills of Materials (BOM) and other material-related documentation. Preparation of Instrument Installation Details and assist designers in Modelling of instruments and panels. Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and team members. Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, including process and mechanical engineers. Participate in Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), Site Acceptance Test (SAT). Provide technical direction to designers and Junior Engineers who perform specific deliverable support activities. Qualifications and Experience: Education: Bachelor's degree in Electronics or Instrumentation Engineering. Experience: Minimum 10-15 years of relevant experience in control and instrumentation engineering within the oil and gas industry. Job knowledge of various types of field instrumentation, DCS, and safety PL Strong knowledge of instrument selection for onshore and offshore instrumentation, including control valves, Analyzers, and Pressure Safety Valves. Ability to interpret P&IDs, loop diagrams, wiring schematics, and instrument index. Experience with Smart Plant Instrumentation (SPI) and familiarity with SPI administrator capabilities, including modifying and designing new templates as needed. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot material-related issues in piping systems Strong communication and leadership skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.

This is 1 Year contract which is renewable role. Role & responsibilities Work on support tasks for the Hyderabad Engineering Process Safety Group by gathering process safety information and draft isometrics for evaluating various equipment across global sites by coordinating with internal team and manufacturing personnel. Evaluate potential overpressure and vacuum scenarios, perform line sizing and relief load calculations for new and existing relief devices (PSV, RD and conservation vents). Evaluate and document the simple relief calculations as a complete package using inhouse tools. Prepare relief load summary document and Relief device datasheets. • Material and Energy Balance Calculation as per the process requirement to design the adequate relief systems. Work to enhance safety and protect the environment through overall relief project development. Preferred candidate profile Basic Qualifications Masters or bachelors degree in chemical engineering from an accredited university or college. 4 to 5 years of experience in Process Engineering, Project Design Engineering, Process Safety design and technical services background are preferred. Knowledge of Chemical engineering processes and operations. Brief understanding of process flow diagrams, piping and instrumentation diagrams and equipment layouts. • Must have strong interpersonal, communication, collaboration, and consultation skills. This position will interact with personnel from all departments/organizations. • Must have the ability to communicate effectively through verbal and written means, and able to adapt communication to best reach the intended audience within or outside the organization. • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs. • Internship/Apprenticeship experience in a chemical plant is an add-on. Flow & quality data analysis Preparing process flow diagrams, P&IDs Producing mass balances/process sizing calculations Preparing process & performance specifications Process Modelling and simulation using software like BioWin Providing mentoring and support for junior engineers and CAD technicians Contribute to the production and delivery of concise high-quality technical documentation in English. Qualifications B.E./M.Tech. (preferred) in Chemical or Environmental Engineering field from a recognized university. Professional registration or licensure in their designated home office country or be inactive pursuit of such registration. Awareness of pipe network design codes. Experience in designing Water Treatment systems including conventional and advance system. Experience in designing Wastewater Treatment systems like ASP, MBBR, SBR, MBR, Digesters, Solids Handling system, Desalination system, etc. Awareness of Quality aspects (i.e., registers, design issues logs, QC process and design transmittals etc.). Able to independently work efficiently and meet required deadlines by following relevant design manuals/standards and practices. 8 - 10 Years of experience in water/wastewater industry. Having hands-on experience in process simulation modelling. Experience in Detailed Design of Wastewater Water, Water, Biosolids and Desalination Systems. Good English communication skills.
