We are currently seeking applications for the position of Principal Consultant - PeopleSoft Financials Techno-functional. As a Principal Consultant, your responsibilities will include conducting root cause analysis of recurring issues, providing permanent solutions, and collaborating on IT-driven enhancements to reduce ticket volume. You will be tasked with performing monthly analyses of incoming tickets, taking necessary actions such as RCAs, suggesting process improvements, and conducting user trainings to minimize the influx of tickets. Your key responsibilities will involve being a part of support projects aimed at resolving production issues within an SLA-guided environment, having prior experience with tools and PUM image upgrades, and exposure to PIA (Pure Internet Architecture). You will need to understand requirements and offer technical solutions in a timely manner while maintaining a focus on delivery with high quality. Additionally, you will be expected to propose ideas for process simplification to maximize PeopleSoft's out-of-the-box functionalities and minimize customizations. Qualifications we seek in you: Minimum Qualifications/ Skills: - Experience with PeopleSoft FSCM applications, including Analysis, Development, Implementation, Testing, and Post-implementation support. - Proficiency in People Tools (8.5X) such as Application Designer, PeopleSoft Query, People Code, Component Interface, and File layout, as well as reporting Tools. - Working Knowledge of PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 modules for Finance track (BI, AR, GL, AM) and ESA track (Projects, Timesheets, Expenses). - Working knowledge in Asset Management and Maintenance management modules is preferred. Preferred Qualifications/ Skills: - Hands-on experience with Application Engine, integrations, customizations, and reporting. - Proficiency in Integration tools like Integration Broker, Component Interface, File layout. - Experience in developing various Reports using BI Publisher, SQR, PS Query, Crystal reports. - Ability to troubleshoot production support issues related to Application engine process failures, SQR failures, integration issues, errors in people code, and providing permanent resolutions. - Strong communication skills, a willingness to explore and learn new skills. - Working knowledge in creating User Profiles, Roles, and Permission lists. - Solid working knowledge of SQL queries and PS Queries.
