Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive IT Infrastructure Support Specialist to manage and maintain our organization’s IT hardware and software infrastructure. This role involves overseeing hardware and software inventory, managing enterprise-level antivirus installations, handling user account management, VPN configurations, and ensuring the smooth operation of IT assets and systems. Key Responsibilities Hardware & Software Inventory Management Maintain accurate records of all IT hardware and software assets. Track procurement, deployment, maintenance, and disposal of equipment. Conduct regular audits to ensure inventory compliance and availability. Subscription & License Management Monitor and renew software subscriptions and licenses. Ensure license compliance across all systems and users. Enterprise Antivirus Management Deploy, configure, and monitor antivirus solutions at an enterprise level. Respond to and mitigate security threats and malware alerts. Ensure systems are updated and protected against vulnerabilities. User Account Management Create, modify, and deactivate user accounts in Active Directory, email, and other enterprise systems. Enforce role-based access and security protocols. VPN and Remote Access Setup Configure and troubleshoot VPN solutions for secure remote access. Support users in accessing systems remotely with minimal downtime. System Support & Troubleshooting Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for infrastructure-related issues. Assist in system updates, patching, and scheduled maintenance activities. Documentation & Compliance Maintain comprehensive documentation of systems, configurations, and support procedures. Ensure adherence to company policies, ITIL best practices, and compliance standards. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. 2–5 years of experience in IT support or infrastructure administration. Proficiency in Windows OS, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and remote desktop tools. Hands-on experience with antivirus platforms (e.g., Symantec, CrowdStrike, etc.). Familiarity with VPN tools (e.g., Cisco AnyConnect, Fortinet, or similar). Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Preferred Skills ITIL Foundation certification or equivalent. Experience with asset management software. Exposure to enterprise security protocols and tools.
