PRT MATHS TEACHER

You are looking for a passionate and dedicated PRT Mathematics Teacher to join our team at Kanha Makhan Group of Schools in Mathura. As a primary teacher, you will be responsible for teaching mathematics to primary students, focusing on building a strong foundation in mathematical concepts while ensuring an enjoyable and engaging learning environment. It is important to adapt lessons to cater to varying learning abilities and instill a positive attitude towards mathematics. Your key responsibilities will include planning, preparing, and delivering engaging math lessons covering topics such as basic arithmetic, geometry, measurement, and problem-solving skills. You should employ creative teaching methods, games, and interactive activities to make mathematics understandable and fun for students. Additionally, helping students develop essential math skills like logical thinking, reasoning, and practical application is crucial. Creating a nurturing classroom environment where students feel supported and confident in their abilities is essential. Regular assessment through quizzes, tests, and assignments will help monitor student progress and identify areas for improvement. Providing individual attention to students requiring extra help and utilizing various teaching tools like digital resources, math manipulatives, and visual aids are integral to enhancing the learning experience. Collaborating with colleagues for interdisciplinary activities and ensuring math learning is integrated across subjects will be part of your role. Participation in staff meetings, professional development programs, and school events is expected. The qualifications required include a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field, along with a B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification. Previous experience in teaching mathematics at the primary school level is advantageous, along with a strong knowledge of the primary school math curriculum and effective teaching strategies. Excellent communication and classroom management skills are essential, as well as the ability to engage and motivate young learners. Proficiency in using technology and educational tools to enhance learning is desired. Preferred skills include experience with child-centered teaching methods, activity-based learning, and the ability to adapt lessons to meet diverse learning needs.
