Job Description

Key responsibilities

Develop and deliver lessons: Create and implement engaging lesson plans, often using interactive and inquiry-based methods to teach fundamental math concepts.
Assess student progress: Monitor and evaluate student understanding through assignments, quizzes, tests, and projects.
Build foundational skills: Focus on helping students grasp key concepts in areas like arithmetic, geometry, and basic algebra.
Foster a positive learning environment: Create a warm, engaging, and safe classroom to encourage a love for learning.
Communicate with stakeholders: Collaborate with parents, other teachers, and school management to support student development.

Typical qualifications

Education: A Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) is often mandatory.
