PRT Hindi Teacher

A PRT (Primary) Hindi Teacher's job involves developing and delivering engaging Hindi language and culture lessons for young students, covering grammar, literature, and conversation, through creative plans, interactive activities (like storytelling, games, debates), assessments, and fostering a positive, inclusive classroom environment, while also communicating with parents and participating in school events, focusing on fundamental skill development and character building. Key Responsibilities

• Lesson Planning & Delivery: Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans for Hindi (grammar, vocabulary, prose, poetry, culture).
• Interactive Learning: Use diverse methods like storytelling, role-playing, songs, debates, and audio-visual aids to make learning fun and effective.
• Assessment & Feedback: Evaluate student progress through assignments, tests, and projects, providing timely feedback for improvement.
• Classroom Management: Establish rules, manage behavior, and maintain a positive, disciplined learning atmosphere.
• Student Development: Promote holistic growth (physical, mental, social) and identify students needing extra support.
• Parent Communication: Regularly update parents on student progress, needs, and challenges.
• Professional Development: Attend meetings, workshops, and stay updated with new teaching techniques.
• Cultural Integration: Share Hindi literature and cultural values to build appreciation.

Required Qualifications (General)

• Bachelor's Degree in Hindi/Education or related field.
• B.Ed. or equivalent teaching certification is often mandatory.
• Strong command of Hindi language, literature, and grammar.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
• Passion for teaching young children and understanding of primary education.
