PRT EVS

SFS School, Narengi is seeking a dedicated and dynamic educator to serve as PRT – Environmental Studies (EVS). The role requires a strong foundation in environmental science and the ability to teach core concepts with clarity, ensuring that students develop curiosity, responsibility, and awareness towards their environment. The ideal candidate will embrace a student-centered approach, use interactive and activity-based methods, and align with the school’s vision for academic excellence and holistic development.

Qualifications

• B.Sc./M.Sc. in Environmental Science or a related discipline (mandatory)
• B.Ed. (mandatory)
• Minimum 2 years of relevant teaching experience at the primary level
• Proficiency in digital tools and technology for teaching and assessment

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured EVS lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum for primary classes.
• Incorporate creative teaching aids, experiments, and real-life examples to strengthen conceptual understanding.
• Conduct regular assessments (tests, projects, assignments, and formative methods) to monitor student progress.
• Provide individualized support to address varied learning needs.
• Maintain academic records and contribute to report card preparation.
• Foster environmental awareness and responsible practices among students.
• Actively participate in school events, meetings, and professional development programs.
• Collaborate with colleagues for interdisciplinary activities and curriculum planning.
• Maintain open communication with parents regarding student progress and concerns.

Salary
Up to ₹23,000 CTC per month, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
