PRT English

The PRT English teacher is responsible for teaching foundational English skills to primary students, including reading, phonics, vocabulary, and basic grammar, through activity?based and child?centered learning methodologies.

Teach foundational English to primary grades through interactive and engaging lessons.

Facilitate phonics?based learning, reading programs, and story?based activities.

Support early literacy development through structured practice.

Conduct regular assessments and maintain student progress records.

Provide constructive feedback and share updates with parents when required.

Create a positive, safe, and stimulating learning environment.

Use age?appropriate teaching aids, digital tools, and activity?based strategies.

Participate in school events, academic planning, and training sessions.

Work with other teachers to ensure academic continuity across grades.

Bachelor's Degree in English / Education.

D.Ed or B.Ed mandatory.

13 years of primary teaching experience preferred.

Strong command over foundational English concepts and phonics.

Excellent communication and child?handling skills.

Ability to conduct activity?based and experiential learning.

Familiarity with digital teaching tools and primary?level pedagogy.
