You are a highly skilled Senior 3D Mechanical Designer who will play a crucial role in transforming innovative electrical switchgear designs into manufacturable products using SolidWorks at Asiatic Electrical & Switchgear Pvt. Ltd."s state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Bhiwadi. Your responsibilities will include creating high-precision 3D/2D mechanical designs for LV & MV switchgear panels, developing GA drawings and fabrication drawings tailored for sheet metal, and collaborating with electrical engineers to ensure seamless electro-mechanical integration. It will be your duty to ensure compliance with IEC, IS, and client-specific standards, optimize designs for cost-effective fabrication and space-efficient layouts, prepare and review BOMs, enter data into SAP, and coordinate with procurement. You will also participate in prototype builds, design validation, and production troubleshooting, while maintaining complete and up-to-date design documentation for production and customer approvals. To excel in this role, you should hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering, possess at least 5 years of experience in designing sheet metal enclosures for electrical switchgear, and be an expert in SolidWorks, especially for sheet metal design and assemblies. A deep understanding of fabrication, punching, bending, and machining processes, as well as solid knowledge of IP protection classes, thermal behaviour, and busbar layouts, will be essential for your success in this position.,
