Check out our products here - www.charcoal.inc Our latest product: The Charcoal Case - A Revolution In Bag Design About the Role We are looking for a passionate Electronics Engineer to join our product development team. You will work under the guidance of senior engineers to design, develop, test, and troubleshoot electronic systems for our products. This is a hands-on role where youll be involved from concept to production, gaining experience in both hardware and firmware development. Key Responsibilities Assist in circuit design, schematic drafting, and PCB layout creation. Support component selection based on availability, cost, and performance. Participate in prototype assembly and testing. Help in debugging electronic circuits and identifying faults. Work with mechanical and industrial design teams for product integration. Maintain documentation of designs, test results, and iterations. Support in preparing BOMs (Bill of Materials) and working with vendors for part sourcing. Assist in compliance testing (EMI/EMC, safety, etc.). Write basic firmware code Assist in conducting accelerated lifecycle testing Requirements B.E./B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Electronics & Communication, or related field. Basic understanding of analog and digital circuits. Familiarity with PCB design tools (e.g., KiCAD, Altium, Eagle). Knowledge of basic testing instruments (multimeter, oscilloscope, power supply). Eagerness to learn and ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment. Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Basic programming in C/C++ for microcontrollers (Arduino, STM32, ESP32). Knowledge of sensors, wireless modules, and embedded systems. Exposure to soldering and rework techniques.
