As a Business Development Manager (Tooling Solutions) at our company, you will be responsible for identifying and acquiring new business opportunities in the automotive, white goods, engineering, and industrial sectors for press tools, proto tools, and fixtures. You will play a key role in building strong relationships with OEMs, Tier 1 & 2 vendors, and contract manufacturers while also maintaining strong relationships with existing customers. Collaboration with the design and tooling team to propose customized solutions as per client RFQs will be a crucial aspect of your role. You will need to drive sales from new product development (NPD) teams by positioning our company as a trusted proto partner and generate leads through various channels such as market research, exhibitions, online platforms, and personal network. Meeting monthly/quarterly revenue and conversion targets will be a priority, and you will be responsible for preparing techno-commercial proposals, handling client negotiations, and closing deals effectively. Maintaining CRM and providing periodic sales pipeline reports to management will also be part of your responsibilities. Representing the company at trade shows, vendor meets, and industry networking forums will be essential for expanding our reach and visibility in the market. To excel in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering / Industrial Engineering; an MBA in Marketing is a plus. A minimum of 10 years of experience in industrial/engineering sales, specifically in tooling, sheet metal, or machine tool sectors, is required. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, a strong technical aptitude, and the ability to understand manufacturing processes are key attributes we are looking for. Proficiency in MS Office, CRM systems, and technical proposal writing is essential. Additionally, willingness to travel across India for business development purposes is necessary to succeed in this role.,
