PhD in Organic Chemistry or Medicinal Chemistry from a reputed research institute from India or abroad, with a minimum of 1-2 years of Post-Doctoral research experience from a reputed institute abroad. Publications in peer-reviewed journals of international repute is mandatory. A minimum of 2-3 years of Industrial experience, including at least 1 year as a team leader with proven track record of handling a small team of minimum 3-4 MSc research associates. Hands-on experience in Medicinal Chemistry, Drug Discovery or Integrated drug discovery projects, together with solid understanding and grounding in synthesis of complex target molecules for the purpose of biological screening. Good understanding of various drug discovery and medicinal chemistry aspects and moderate exposure to the concepts and practices of small molecule-based PROTACs and protein degradation in general would be a great plus.
