Role Overview We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Manager – Business Development with a strong background in finance, banking, or corporate lending. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in client acquisition, relationship management, corporate funding processes, and evaluating financial requirements of businesses. Key Responsibilities Identify, target, and acquire new clients in the corporate and MSME segments. Understand clients’ financial requirements and propose appropriate funding solutions (bridge funding, structured debt, private financing, etc.). Build strong relationships with CFOs, finance heads, promoters, and key decision-makers. Conduct preliminary assessment of client financials, working capital cycles, and funding viability. Coordinate with internal credit, legal, and management teams for structuring deals. Manage the end-to-end business development cycle — from lead generation and pitching to closure and onboarding. Maintain healthy sales pipelines and achieve monthly business targets. Stay updated on market trends, funding instruments, and corporate finance developments. Represent the company at meetings, networking events, and industry forums. Key Skills & Competencies Strong understanding of finance, working capital, corporate loans, and debt structuring. Prior experience in banking, NBFCs, corporate funding, or investment advisory is essential. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to analyze balance sheets, P&L statements, and cash flows. Relationship-building ability with senior management individuals. Target-driven, disciplined, and self-motivated. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Commerce; MBA/PGDM (Finance or Marketing) preferred. 3–8 years of experience in banking, NBFC, corporate finance, or business development roles.
