The Engineer - Sampling plays a key role in providing technical, administrative, and planning support to ensure successful delivery and closure of sampling projects. The role emphasizes strict adherence to Proservs Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) standards, ensuring client satisfaction and operational excellence. Key Accountabilities 1. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Prepare techno-commercial offers aligned with client specifications for sampling rental, service, and trading projects. Maintain clear communication with clients, interpreting requirements accurately while promoting Proserv’s safety and operational culture. Identify practical solutions using Proserv equipment to address client needs. Manage opportunities and quotations within the AX ERP system, ensuring compliance with internal processes. Log client purchase orders, acknowledge receipt after line manager approval, and maintain accurate trackers. Coordinate with sub-vendors and intercompany teams to evaluate offers based on technical, commercial, and delivery parameters; escalate concerns as needed. Manage project creation and updates in ERP, including part number creation, purchase requisitions, goods receipts, delivery notes, and invoicing notifications. Collaborate with SCM, Logistics, Stores, and ERP teams to ensure timely order delivery. Provide regular project updates to clients and escalate delays or issues to line management. Collect customer feedback post-project completion and update management trackers accordingly. Maintain up-to-date asset lists, including documentation, spare parts, calibration, and maintenance schedules. Ensure all deliverables and KPIs are met promptly and maintain accurate financial and project trackers. Comply with company Quality Management System (QMS) policies and procedures. Prepare clear handover notes for continuity during absences. Represent Proserv professionally in all client and project interactions. Log all QHSE activities such as observation cards, inspections, and quality control checks. Participate actively in HSE meetings, toolbox talks, and incident investigations. Demonstrate personal commitment to Proserv’s Quality, Health, Safety, Environment, and FRESH values. Mobilize to client sites as needed to lead downhole sampling projects. 2. Specific Additional Duties Support adherence to and improvement of company Quality and HSE management systems. Implement company policies effectively. Promote safety awareness and continuous improvement. Contribute to product delivery enhancement and cost reduction initiatives. 3. Principal Working Relationships Collaborate with Department Coordinators and field operators for smooth project execution. Coordinate with Operations Manager and Project Controller for profitable project delivery. Engage with clients and internal teams during project phases. Work closely with Project Manager and engineering teams on PME (Project Monitoring & Evaluation) and PQ (Project Quality). Qualifications Education Essential: Diploma or ITI in Engineering, Hydraulics, Instrumentation, or Mechanical disciplines. Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Hydraulics, Instrumentation, or Mechanical. Experience Essential: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, including leading downhole sampling projects offshore and onshore. Preferred: Experience working with AX12 or similar ERP systems.
