Conduct feasibility analysis to meet customer specifications and suggest alternative solutions when required. Ensure proposals comply with applicable codes, standards, and customer requirements. Manage proposal revisions and clarifications during the bid process. Maintain a comprehensive database of costing, past projects, and product configurations. Provide technical support to the sales team during pre-sales and contract negotiations. Track proposal status and maintain effective communication with stakeholders. Preferred Candidate Profile: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. 6-8 years of experience in proposal engineering for valve manufacturing or related industries. Strong understanding of different types of industrial valves and applications. Proficiency in reading technical drawings, specifications, and standards (e.g., API, ASME). Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems.
