Underwriter - Commercial Lines - Property Engineering - Pune Location - Pune An exciting opportunity for professionals with 12 years of experience in property underwriting or property engineering to join a dynamic team handling commercial property risks. You’ll work with seasoned professionals and contribute to technical underwriting excellence. Responsibilities - Evaluate and underwrite property insurance proposals for commercial and industrial clients. Analyze technical risk and pricing for property and engineering lines. Assist in quoting and renewal strategies, ensuring underwriting profitability. Liaise with brokers, surveyors, and internal teams for complete documentation and risk analysis. Support large/complex account underwriting alongside senior underwriters. Maintain accurate documentation, contribute to MIS and loss ratio monitoring. Requirements - 1–2 years of experience in Property Engineering/Property Underwriting. Knowledge of commercial risk assessment, property insurance wordings, and regulatory norms. Graduate in any discipline (preferably engineering). Certifications like Licentiate, Associate, or AINS are a plus. Proficient in MS Office; ability to analyze data effectively.
