Description
You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring timely processing of transactions, and supporting the accounting cycle for assigned properties. - Manage day-to-day accounting activities for assigned real estate properties. - Record and reconcile financial transactions using Yardi property management software. - Perform monthly bank reconciliations and general ledger reviews. - Prepare and review property-level financial statements and supporting schedules. - Ensure accurate coding of invoices and compliance with accounting standards. - Collaborate with the US accounting team to resolve discrepancies and meet reporting deadlines. - Assist in budget preparation, accrual entries, and variance analysis. - Maintain documentation for audits and internal reviews. Required Skills & Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - 2 - 6 years of experience in Property Accounting, preferably supporting US real estate clients. - Proficiency in Yardi Voyager or similar property management accounting software. - Experience with US GAAP and month-end closing procedures. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional and US based teams. - Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
