Proofreader Cum Copyeditor

Role Overview: As a skilled Copy Editor, your main responsibility will be to review and refine written content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to editorial guidelines. You will work closely with writers and editors to understand project requirements and apply creative writing techniques to enhance the overall quality of content. Additionally, you will be responsible for conducting thorough proofreading, fact-checking information, and assisting with copywriting and other editorial tasks as needed. Key Responsibilities: - Communicate effectively with writers and editors to understand project requirements - Conduct thorough proofreading of written materials to correct errors in grammar, punctuation, and spelling - Apply creative writing techniques to enhance the overall quality of content - Utilise journalistic standards to fact-check information and ensure accuracy - Assist with copywriting, proposal writing, and other editorial tasks as needed Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in word processing software and editing tools - Strong attention to detail and excellent proofreading skills - Experience in creative writing, journalism, or related fields - Ability to fact-check information accurately - Previous experience in copy editing or a similar role is desirable Please note that this is a full-time job with a day shift schedule. Performance bonus and yearly bonus are also part of the compensation package.
