As a Proofreader at Third Bridge, you will play a crucial role in transforming raw, verbatim transcripts of technical conversations into polished, error-free end products. Your primary responsibility will be editing and proofreading transcripts to ensure accuracy, clarity, grammatical correctness, and alignment with the internal Style Guide. You will work on curating specialist profiles, researching market events and important information, and making client-centric editorial decisions to deliver high-quality content to our clients. Your meticulous eye for detail, outstanding listening and research skills, and exceptional command of English spelling, grammar, syntax, and punctuation will be essential in this role. You will need to demonstrate confidence in making editorial judgements, balancing consistency and adherence to guidelines with the client experience. Your ability to read text with two mindsets - as an editor and as a reader - will help you identify and rectify stylistic errors and improve content effectively. As a successful candidate, you will need to be a self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and workflows efficiently. Effective communication with stakeholders globally, both in written and verbal formats, will be crucial. To qualify for this role, you should have at least 3 years of professional experience in a proofreading/editorial role, hold a Bachelor's degree, and be familiar with financial content and industry-specific terminology.
