You are seeking a Lead - Structural Design for the Global Design Center (GDC) Office located in Bangalore. With over 15+ years of experience, you will be responsible for supervising and leading the implementation of Civil & Structural (C&S) works for energy and power projects. Your key responsibilities will include performing C&S design works for various energy and power-related projects, preparing material take-offs for cost estimation, and creating tender specifications and presentation materials. Additionally, you will be involved in Marine and Infrastructure planning & design, carrying out pre-consultations with authorities, feasibility studies, conceptual & detailed design, and supporting business development activities. Managing assigned tasks efficiently and delivering satisfactory results within tight timelines are crucial aspects of this role. There may be requirements for site supervision or a site residential role, necessitating the ability to work under harsh site conditions if necessary. Ideal candidates will possess a degree in Civil Engineering, with a Master's degree considered advantageous. A minimum of 15 years of post-graduate working experience, particularly in the energy and power industry, is required. Proficiency in Eurocodes, MS & BS Codes, NFPA, API, and ACI standards is expected. Candidates with experience in gas/thermal power projects will be preferred.
